Familia Adelante: Strengthening Latino Families Together

Familia Adelante is an evidence-based, psychoeducational program created specifically for Latino/Hispanic youth ages 10–14 and their families. Culturally relevant and research-driven, this bilingual initiative helps families address real-life challenges such as:Acculturation and family stress, Substance use prevention, Risky sexual behaviors, Mental and emotional well-being

What to Expect?

The program is offered twice per year

Each cycle includes 8–12 weekly sessions (90 minutes each)

Sessions are interactive, group-based, and facilitated by trained bilingual/bicultural staff

Parents and youth meet separately but concurrently, fostering open dialogue, trust, and growth
